KICK-OFF MEETING: UVA’S IMPACT ON WATER

What could be the social impact of the University of Amsterdam if we start focusing on global and local water issues for about 5 years, with our interdisciplinary education and our interdisciplinary research and valorisation strategy? Join us for the kick-off meeting of UvA’s impact on water, where we’ll explore the potential for an interdisciplinary research agenda on this vital topic.

Date: Wednesday 27th of November, 16.00-18.00
Location: SustainaLab, Matrix ONE, Amsterdam Science Park 301, 1098 XH Amsterdam
Language: English

This meeting will bring together researchers, impact staff, and external organizations to evaluate the potential for collaboration on water-related challenges. Together, we will begin drafting the outlines of a research agenda that bridges disciplines, connects UvA’s expertise with external organizations, and identifies those eager to explore innovative research ideas. This event aims to spark new partnerships, foster dialogue, and build a shared vision for tackling water challenges on both local and global scales. Organised by Suzanne Hansen (initiator UvA’s impact on water), Milo de Baat (assistent professor IBED), and Bart Krull (moderator).

Programme:
