LAUNCH: SUSTAINABLE IT IMPACT ASSESSMENT (SIIA)

IT is the backbone of our information society and economy and plays a crucial role in all major transitions of our time, such as the energy transition, healthcare innovation and the design of our living environment. At the same time, our increasing dependence on IT requires a sustainable approach, as energy, equipment and raw materials are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. Sustainable IT not only provides a solution to these challenges, but at the same time creates opportunities for innovative revenue models, cost savings and strengthening competitiveness and autonomy. Making IT sustainable creates a powerful flywheel for a future-proof economy and society. The question is not if, but how to make IT sustainable. With the Sustainable IT Impact Assessment (SIIA) you take a first but important step towards IT that is not only smarter and more efficient, but also better for people, the environment and your wallet.

Launch: Sustainable IT Impact Assessment
Date: 20th of June, 2025, 10.00-13.00
Location: Auditorium, Matrix ONE, Amsterdam Science Park 301, 1098 XH Amsterdam
Language: Dutch

During this meeting, member of Dutch parliament Barbara Kathmann will officially receive the first SIIA guide, various speakers will share their vision and practical experience, and you will be fully inspired to get started with sustainable IT yourself.

The SIIA is meant to inspire all organizations in the Netherlands that want to get started with sustainable digitalization. It offers structure for the planned approach to that ambition, but also provides tools for individuals or organizations that want to start on a specific part. It is therefore a guide for employees, managers and directors who have responsibilities or tasks in the field of sustainability and IT.

Registration is free and possible via this link.
Note this event will be held in Dutch.

This event is organised by the Nationale Coalitie Duurzame Digitalisering.
